EGO Gutter Cleaning Kit — What the AGC1000 Fits

EGO keeps it simple: there's a genuine OEM gutter attachment, the AGC1000, that mounts straight to the POWER+ blower you already own. But it doesn't fit every model, retailer compatibility lists disagree, and it's single-story only. Here's the verified fit reference, an honest review, and when a third-party kit is the smarter call.

EGO's Gutter Kit Is the Simple One — With Two Catches

Of the major battery brands, EGO has the cleanest gutter-cleaning story. There's a single official answer: the AGC1000 POWER+ Gutter Cleaning Attachment. It's a genuine EGO part that screws straight onto the outlet of an EGO POWER+ handheld blower, adds about 8.3 feet of reach, and finishes in an adjustable nozzle you can angle into the gutter. No power head, no trimmer adapter, no guessing — it mounts to the blower itself.

That makes the AGC1000 the right answer for most EGO owners. But there are two catches worth knowing before you buy, and they're exactly what this guide sorts out:

Catch 1 · Fit

Not Every EGO Blower

The AGC1000 fits most of the current POWER+ lineup but not the LB4800, and retailer listings disagree on the exact model list. The matrix below is the verified set.

Catch 2 · Reach

Single-Story Only

At 8.3 feet of added reach, the AGC1000 is a single-story tool. Two-story gutters need a third-party kit that runs tubing up a separate extension pole.

The reason a brand-matched attachment is worth caring about: the airflow you get at the end of a gutter wand depends heavily on how well the connection seals. A universal adapter bleeds air at the joint; the AGC1000 is built for the EGO outlet, so it loses less. The airflow math behind that is covered in our guide to how much CFM you need for gutter cleaning.

EGO AGC1000 Compatibility Matrix

This is the reference table. The AGC1000 fits the models marked "Yes" — EGO's official compatibility list, spanning 530 to 880 CFM. Handily, EGO's model numbers encode the airflow rating: an LB7650 is a 765 CFM blower, an LB6150 is 615 CFM, and so on.

A note on conflicting listings: some retailers show only the LB5300, LB5750, LB5800, and LB6500 as compatible. That's an outdated subset — EGO's own current list includes the LB6150, LB6700, LB7650, and LB8800 as well. When in doubt, match against EGO's eight-model list above, and remember the LB4800 is the one current model that's explicitly out.

The AGC1000 is the kind of accessory that just works because it was engineered for the tool. It threads onto the EGO POWER+ blower outlet with screw-connection tubes that seal tightly, so you keep more of the blower's airflow than a friction-fit universal adapter would let you. The adjustable nozzle rotates, which matters more than it sounds — you can angle airflow down the gutter trough rather than straight into it, the single biggest factor in not showering yourself with debris.

Reach is genuinely competitive for an OEM blower attachment. At about 8.3 feet of added height, it puts the nozzle comfortably into single-story gutters from the ground, and it pairs naturally with EGO's strong airflow: the LB6500 (650 CFM, 180 MPH), the LB7650 (765 CFM, 200 MPH), and the LB8800 (880 CFM) all push enough air down the wand to clear dry debris with margin to spare. On the lower-CFM models like the LB5300 (530 CFM), it still works for dry leaves but has less in reserve for anything damp.

The two honest limits are reach and fit. The AGC1000 is single-story only — it can't bridge to a two-story gutter, where you'd want a third-party kit that runs tubing up a separate extension pole. And it doesn't fit the LB4800 or older EGO blowers outside the list. If you're outside the EGO ecosystem or need height, the universal options in our no-ladder gutter cleaning guide are the better path.

Verdict: The best gutter kit for compatible EGO POWER+ blowers. Tight OEM seal, rotating nozzle, and a class-leading 8.3 ft of reach. Pairs strongest with the LB6500 and up; held back only by single-story reach and the LB4800 exclusion.

Strengths

  • Genuine OEM fit — screw-connect tubes seal tightly
  • Adjustable rotating nozzle aims airflow precisely
  • 8.3 ft of reach betters most OEM blower kits
  • Mounts straight to the blower — no power head needed
  • Fits most of the current POWER+ lineup
  • Pairs with EGO's high-CFM blowers for real clearing power

Limitations

  • Single-story reach only (8.3 ft)
  • Does not fit the LB4800 or older EGO blowers
  • Retailer compatibility lists are inconsistent
  • Lower-CFM pairings struggle with damp debris
  • No help for non-EGO blowers

How to Install the EGO AGC1000

Installation is quick, but a couple of steps are worth doing in order to keep airflow up. The walkthrough below is for the OEM AGC1000; third-party kits attach differently — they clamp tubing to a separate extension pole — and that method is in our gutter attachments guide.

1

Remove the battery first

Take the 56V battery out of the blower before handling the outlet. You'll have your hands near the trigger while fitting the tubes — don't skip this.

2

Take off the standard nozzle

Remove the blower's standard tapered or spread nozzle so the bare outlet is exposed. Set it aside to reinstall after gutter cleaning.

3

Assemble the screw-connect tubes on the ground

Thread the extension tube sections together first, on the ground, to full length. The screw connections seal better than push-fit joints — tighten each one firmly so air doesn't bleed at the seams.

4

Fit and angle the adjustable nozzle

Attach the gutter nozzle to the end of the assembled wand and set its rotation so it points sideways into the gutter, not straight down. This is what keeps debris sweeping along the trough instead of erupting upward.

5

Thread the wand onto the blower and test

Screw the assembled wand onto the blower outlet, reinstall the battery, and run it at a low speed pointed safely away. Confirm steady airflow with no whistling at the joints before raising it to the gutter.

Common Problems With the EGO Gutter Kit

The issues that come up most often with the AGC1000 and its third-party alternatives. Most are quick fixes.

Airflow feels weak at the nozzle

Usually a loose screw joint. Check that every tube connection is threaded tight and the wand is fully seated on the blower outlet — a half-turn loose at any seam bleeds airflow down the whole wand.

The attachment won't fit my EGO blower

Confirm your model is on EGO's list. The LB4800 is explicitly excluded, and older or non-listed EGO blowers use a different outlet. If yours isn't compatible, a universal kit with an adjustable adapter is the route.

Debris blows back onto you

A nozzle-angle issue, not a kit fault. Rotate the adjustable nozzle so airflow exits sideways toward the downspout end, and stand to the side of the wand rather than directly under it.

Can't reach the second-story gutters

Expected — the AGC1000 tops out around 8.3 feet. Two-story gutters sit at 16 to 22 feet. You need a third-party kit that feeds tubing up a separate extension pole; see our two-story gutter guide.

Wet leaves won't clear

An airflow limit, not a kit problem. Pair the AGC1000 with a higher-CFM EGO blower for damp debris, and accept that soaked, matted leaves resist airflow regardless. Our wet leaves guide covers the approach.

Not sure if it's a genuine AGC1000

Third-party makers sell AGC1000 alternatives (MaBoltx, Sealegend) for the same blower lineup. They work, but the genuine EGO part holds the tightest seal. Check the part number if a tight, leak-free fit matters to you.

Common Questions About the EGO Gutter Kit

Yes. EGO's OEM gutter cleaning attachment is the AGC1000. It attaches directly to EGO POWER+ leaf blowers, adds about 8.3 feet of reach, and uses an adjustable nozzle and screw-connection extension tubes. Unlike some brands, EGO's gutter solution mounts on the blower itself, not on a separate power head.

EGO's official list is the LB5300, LB5750, LB5800, LB6150, LB6500, LB6700, LB7650, and LB8800 — spanning 530 to 880 CFM. Some retailer listings show a shorter set (LB5300, LB5750, LB5800, LB6500), but that's an outdated subset. The attachment is explicitly not compatible with the LB4800. See the compatibility matrix above for the full reference.

No. EGO explicitly lists the LB4800 as not compatible with the AGC1000. It uses a different outlet, so the gutter tubes won't seal to it. If you own an LB4800 and want ground-level gutter cleaning, a universal kit with an adjustable adapter is the path — the options are in our no-ladder gutter cleaning guide.

Not the OEM AGC1000. It adds about 8.3 feet of reach, which makes it a single-story tool. Two-story gutters sit at 16 to 22 feet. For that height you need a third-party kit, such as ArloCatcher's, that runs flexible tubing up a separate threaded extension pole. See our two-story gutter guide for that approach.

The AGC1000 includes the screw-connection extension tubes and an adjustable gutter nozzle, reaching about 8.3 feet of added height. The nozzle rotates so you can direct airflow into the gutter at an angle. It's a genuine EGO part designed for the POWER+ blower outlet, which seals more tightly than a universal adapter.

For single-story cleaning, the OEM AGC1000 is the tightest, simplest fit and mounts straight to the blower. Choose a third-party kit when you need two-story reach, since kits like ArloCatcher's run tubing up an extension pole the AGC1000 can't match. Brands like MaBoltx and Sealegend also sell AGC1000 alternatives for the same blower lineup. If you run a different brand, our STIHL, Ryobi, and Milwaukee gutter kit guides cover those ecosystems.

It depends on the blower behind it. Airflow drops across the length of any gutter wand, so pairing the AGC1000 with a higher-CFM EGO blower (the LB6500 at 650 CFM up to the LB7650 at 765 CFM or LB8800 at 880 CFM) gives the best chance against damp debris. Heavily matted or saturated leaves still resist airflow regardless of the blower, and are better cleared once dry — our wet leaves guide covers the options.

Not an EGO Owner?

The AGC1000 is the right answer for the EGO POWER+ ecosystem. For other blower brands, two-story reach, or heavy-debris conditions, there are better-matched options.
